Who are we
Enabling Youth and Motorcross is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC). We provide universal open-access youth sessions, delivering themed educational activities that support young people’s learning, wellbeing and personal development.
We also provide a detached youth work service, engaging with young people who are harder to reach and may not typically access mainstream services.
As part of our work, we enable young people to develop the knowledge and understanding needed to ride a motorbike safely and responsibly within a secure environment, under supervision. Alongside this, we teach practical mechanics, responsibility and consequences, giving young people opportunities to gain accreditation in motorbike maintenance.
Our aim is to support young people’s personal and social development, helping them to make informed life choices as they transition from adolescence into adulthood through meaningful participation in our youth sessions.
Our DNA
At Enabling Youth and Motocross CIC, our work is built on a simple belief: young people deserve safe spaces, trusted adults, and real opportunities to thrive. Our DNA is rooted in kindness, respect and consistency — showing up week after week, building trust, and creating a space where young people feel welcomed and valued. We believe youth work should be supportive but also full of fun, care and love, helping young people feel positive about themselves and their future. Everything we do is young person led, shaped by youth voice and real participation, and grounded in community, strengthening local connections, belonging, and pride.
